July done!!

Here are July - the icecream month! its really childish but thats the point in summer right; to playful and fun?:) the month word was "hot", but I changed it - its not so hot i july afterall...... ;)

I will show all the months when everything is put together and the box is finished

Almost done!

Now I have 11 diaries! And 11 insides! But im still a littlebit unsure about how im gonna put them together, french folding or sewing the pages together? Look at the picture on the bottom, personally I think sewing them together with some kind of thread would be the nicest, with frenchfolding the book gets too thick.

They all are going in to a box and gathered in some other way.. Yet to be decided!

February Silver Shining

February is Silver, because of the snow and the beautiful, clear, silver moon in the night.
I made this month with silver paper.

It has a silver lining and its shining!

Diary

In our new project we are making a Diary with typography. Im making 12 small books(one for each month), and they will be gathered in a gift-box or a folder. Each month will have a saying or a word, and with that I will make patterns.
I have been doing a lot of sketches and today I tried to make to books(not the inside but the outside). Here december is "merry" and august is "happy".

What do you think?

Old projects

I sat today, trying to make a digital moodboard for the websites we are making, and then I found some old school assignements.

This first on is a magazine for a paper(Bergens Tidende), I made this last year. The target group on this prodject was young people(=ung)




And this one is a redesign of a sailing magazine called "Seilas". (The assignement was to redesign a magazine)




We just started sketching for the diary now, so soon I am gonna show you some ideas!

Retro photos

I had some old pictures from my mom and fixed them a little bit. They are taken by different family members.
The first ones are of my mom and her family, some of me as a baby with my grandmother, and one of me and my sister from just one year ago. Enjoy!

Autumn

To day I got ill. Some kind of flu thing.. So therefore I made this poster(I really like the colours), and I think that is a nice saying.I also found some old pictures so I'm gonna post them soon!

Edinburgh

Here is a picture from one of my first days Edinburgh. It is from the festival fireworks, taken at Princess street. Quite nice!

Typographical Posters

I made two posters for an assignement at school, they are due to monday but I allready have them done! The topic was typography.

Take a look:
At this one we could do anything we wanted, but it had to be about typography. It's called "Just want to dance with my baby"



This one is called "Typified", and all the pupils had to take inspiration from a poster called "Objectified". My idea was to make a chess-board and then play with different kind of typography. Im quite satisfyed with this actually! What do you think?
